With Webspace Rental there is no annual hosting fee, and you can choose the length of time that you wish to display your webpages. We will produce an easily identifiable website address for you (e.g. www.onlinebritain.co.uk/mycompany), which you can use to promote your business or products.

Cost is £12.50/month - so Webspace Rental is an excellent starting point for businesses and individuals wanting to test how beneficial a website will be for them.

How does Webspace Rental work?

• Simply give us a copy of your advertising material/brochure and we will upload it to the Internet, where visitors can access your information.
• We can take your hard copy brochure (2 x A4 pages or equivalent), and transfer it to the Internet as a pdf (Acrobat Reader) file.
     Or
  We can take your electronic brochure (e.g. Microsoft Word, Publisher, etc.), and transfer it to the Internet as a pdf file (4 x A4 pages or equivalent).
• We will produce your webpage, with a "button link" to the pdf file, as well as an easily identifiable website address (e.g. www.onlinebritain.co.uk/mycompany), which you will be able to use to promote your business or products.
• We will add an email "contact us" link - you will just need to give us a separate email address (and if you're not sure how to get an email address we can show you how using, for example, gmail, yahoo, msn, etc.)

What do I need to do, to have my own online brochure?

(1) Complete our simple online order form (click here)

     OR

Send us an email to webspace@imagewebsitedesign.co.uk giving us your:
   - Your name
   - Company name
   - Address
   - Telephone number
   - Fax number
   - Email address (e.g. mycompany@gmail.com)
   - Company description (maximum 100 characters)
   - Webspace Rental start date, & period (minimum 3 months)
   - Method of sending the webpage content
         (by email or by post)
   - Your preferred domain address
           (e.g. www.onlinebritain.co.uk/mycompany)

(2) Send us a separate email to:
         webspace@imagewebsitedesign.co.uk
         containing the following two attachments:

• your company logo
  - we will resize it to fit the webpage (120x60 pixels)
• a copy of your electronic brochure

     OR

Send a copy of your company brochure to us in the post.

How much does it cost?

Scanning & converting your hard copy brochure      £15.00
to pdf format (max. 2xA4 pages or equivalent).
This is a one-off flat fee.

How do I pay?

We will send you an online invoice to the email address that you have provided. Simply click on the link that we send to you, and follow the on-screen instructions to make your payment.
We use PayPal for invoicing - to enable you to pay by most Debit and Credit cards - simple to use, safe, and secure.
You do not need a PayPal account to make payment.
When payment is received, we will upload your online brochure to your allocated webspace.

Why do you restrict the files to a maximum of 4 x A4 pages?

A webpage is designed to open quickly, and website designers take great pains to ensure that webpages open as quickly as possible. Pdf files are comparatively quite large, and take longer to open.
An MS Word document containing 4 pages can be converted into a pdf file that will open reasonably quickly. If the document is sent as a hard copy & requires scanning, then the resulting pdf file will be larger than if the pdf file was created from an MS Word file - hence why a scanned pdf is restricted to 2 pages. Please contact us if you would like to upload larger files.

Does the unlimited use policy apply?

Webspace rental is designed to provide a platform for simple starter websites, and is a cost-effective way of producing an online brochure for those first branching into Internet usage.
We offer an effective unlimited use policy by using hosting facilities from a world-wide provider. In rare cases, if a customer uses server resources to such an extent that he or she may jeopardise server performance and resources for other customers, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the hosting facility (this is an extremely rare occurrence, and only likely to happen if your webspace receives an unprecedented amount of webtraffic for a starter website).
