Our Professional Style websites are based on a navigation bar, and each
page can then be subdivided into more webpages. Click

The benefit
of this style of website is that it can be used as an inexpensive
way of incorporating a lot of information onto the website - once
the basic website and navigation bar are completed, then the extra
pages can easily be incorporated, for minimal cost.
With a minimum
of a home page, information section, and contact us page, this
style starts with the 3 button navigation bar website.
Every website will have its own online contact form, so that visitors
can send you an email directly from the webpage.
Larger versions are available and our
example website has a 7 button navigation bar, with 25 pages,
containing 3000 words.
Typically
each webpage will contain between 150 and 200 words and your pictures.
This is a useful style to adopt when you already have a brochure
which needs to be transferred to the internet, or if you know
the end user will be interested in picking the appropriate topics,
but where you do not need them to read absolutely everything on
your website.

following provide solutions where cost is the most important
consideration.
the
basic bespoke website
 A
single bespoke webpage (designed using your company colours,
and styles) showing your company name, logo, address, telephone
number, etc.
Plus 50 to 100 words of content, a picture, an online contact
form, and your own domain name with email accounts.
We need you to provide all details including content, logos,
and pictures.
Cost £150
the
basic pdf website
 This
is again a single bespoke webpage (designed using your company
colours, and styles) showing your company name, logo, address,
telephone number, company description, and your own domain
name with email accounts.
There
is no space allocated for content, but instead there will
be a link/button which will open a small pdf brochure (typically
2 - 3 pages) - see webspace rental, below, for an example.
The pdf file will be opened using Acrobat Reader on your customers
computer. You will need to supply a copy of the document -
either by post for a hard copy original; in MS Word; scanned
as a digital image; or as a suitable file which we can convert
to a pdf file.
We need
you to provide all details including logos, and pictures,
and you need to provide us with a brochure which we will convert
to the pdf file.

webspace
rental
 This
option is very similar to the pdf website except the design
of the webpage will be a standard format, you will need to
provide your own email account, and the URL (domain name)
of your webspace is provided by our sister company www.onlinebritain.co.uk
With webspace
rental you don't have an annual hosting fee; you can choose
the length of time that you wish to display your webpages
(3 months minimum); and in conjunction with our sister company
we will produce a website with a URL of www.onlinebritain.co.uk/mycompany
This flexible
option is similar to the basic pdf website - it allows you
the opportunity of having a pdf file uploaded to the internet,
with an easily identifiable URL, which you can use to promote
your business or products.

above are very clear-cut and precise. In reality most websites
contain various content, and may contain different styles on
each page.
We can tailor
your website to suit your requirements, and it's probable that
you won't ask us to produce a website that exactly matches the
above categories.
It is possible that you may decide on a three page website containing
two single screen pages (business style), with another page
being 3 screens long (descriptive style).
Or
you may decide on a 5 page website containing 2 informative
style pages (2 screens long) and 3 business style (single screen).
Based on
the content that the website contains, we will provide you with
a quotation before we commit you to any costs. In many cases
this will mean that the costs could be lower than the examples

The first
step to knowing how much your website will cost is to know what
you want your website to contain.
Keep the content brief, but informative.
Remember that any potential customers will want to look at your
website, but will only want to spend a few minutes before they
move onto something else. It is important to grab their attention
with a few key facts, well laid out on the page, rather than
trying to tell them a story.
We specialise
in producing on-line brochures and internet presence websites.
If you already have a brochure then we can adapt this to the
internet, or we can use the 'clean sheet' scenario and write
your internet brochure without using any pre-conceived concepts.
A webpage
consists of pictures and text.
If you already have a logo, digital photos, and pictures then
part of the work has already been done, and we will be able
to reduce our costs accordingly. If you don't have the photos
available then we will be able to take digital photos of your
business to use on your webpages.
The same applies to the text needed on the webpages. Some clients
prefer to provide us with exact detail of the script to use
on the webpage, while others will ask us to write the script
for them. Our prices will reflect the amount of time which needs
to be spent on preparing each webpage.

Hosting
is the other side of the website package, which is more fully

We provide ongoing support as part of the hosting package for
all the websites which we produce so that you know that there
will always be someone there to answer your questions. As part
of this support we periodically resubmit your website to the
search engines.
Hosting and support is inexpensive and you pay just £20.00
per quarter (invoiced annually in advance) or a reduced rate
of £12.50 per quarter when paid by standing order (invoiced
quarterly in arrears) -
that's less than £1 per week for 24/7 availability !
